Meeting at the IRS Discussing Regulation of Return Preparers

There was a meeting at the IRS this past week to discuss the regulation of return preparers. As anticipated, there did not appear to be any huge surprises from any side. Although, there is more support for this initiative recently, and I would have to think at this point it is going to move forward and that such regulation will be a real possibility.

What a huge undertaking this will be for the IRS and the IRS Office of Professional Responsibility and I wish them luck.
